Keith Rudd
South African born Keith spent most of his youth in East London, (Eastern Cape) and Johannesburg.
Formerly a timber frame builder, Keith retired in 2006, and became a consultant to the industry about which he had been so passionate for decades.
It was during Covid (when abject boredom overcame him) that Keith began graphite pencil drawing.
His lifelong mantra of “If it doesn’t look right, its not right”, plus his keen eye for detail soon honed his considerable skills and he has subsequently produced a plethora of designs and undertaken a few commissions.
His primary love is of moody, atmospheric scenes depicting moored yachts and beached rowing boats, although he has also drawn various wild-life and landscapes.
Keith has exhibited at Art In The Park Hermanus and Rondebosch as well as The Art Experience in Hout Bay and been fortunate to sell many of his intricately detailed works of art.
