Tryston Brickles
I’m a fine artist with a deep love for humor, chaos, and making people laugh, smile or even smirk (whether they like it or not). I studied at the Ruth Prowse School of Art for three years, where I learned how to make things look intentional — even when they weren’t.
My work lives at the intersection of comedy and creativity. I create interactive, often ridiculous pieces that invites audiences to laugh, question, and sometimes physically participate. My aim is to make art that doesn’t just sit quietly on a wall but art that gets involved.
After spending time at the Everard Read Gallery (where I learned a lot about art… and even more about art-world seriousness), I realised my true passion is making work that’s playful, unexpected, and never afraid to be silly. Because honestly, life’s strange enough – we might as well laugh at it together.
