Fil Angelakis
Fil Angelakis is a South African/Greek artist based in Kirstenhof, Cape Town. Grateful for a life long passion with art in various media, she continues to draw inspiration from nature, everyday objects, and life. She paints in oil, acrylic, mixed media.
For 20 years she has enjoyed the challenge of teaching oil painting. This is her most rewarding experience and achievement to date.
Fil has exhibited with various groups, mainly with Constantiaberg Art Society at Kirstenboch Gardens. Her works have sold to buyers and collectors from around the globe. She enjoys commission works too.
Her love of art is to persevere, keep on learning and growing, experimenting and just have fun in the journey of art and life. By being true to herself, she takes encouragement from the joy of creating and sharing. From mini paintings to murals, impressionist to abstract, graphic, sketchy, fluid painting, florals, landscapes, wildlife, she has achieved it all with a grateful heart.
