Franci Henny
After a rewarding career as a journalist, Franci Henny is now concentrating on his art.
While “day-jobbing”, he took night school art classes at various institutions including (the then) Natal Technikon and Cape College, and the Ruth Prowse and Peter Clark art schools.
He has participated in numerous exhibitions, often with the SA Society of Artists – who’ve previously awarded him their Certificate of Commendation – and in several galleries, including the Zeitz Mocaa Silo (at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town) and Saatchi online.
Working mostly with oils, he’s also excited by the diversity and “happy accidents” of mixed media.
