Kristan Hendrikz

From an early age, Kristan Hendrikz has had a deep connection to art, always finding joy in drawing ordinary moments. Growing up, when asked what she wanted to be, she would confidently say, “I am already doing it,” believing she was born to be an artist.

Born in Cape Town and residing in Fish Hoek, Kristan faced challenges with severe epilepsy since the age of four, affecting her language and learning abilities. Home schooling provided her the opportunity to immerse herself in her passion for art. Her early teenage years were marked by vibrant murals that adorned her bedroom.

Embracing her colorful personality, Kristan is passionate about exploring various art forms.
Currently, she favors the vivid expressiveness of oil, creating pieces that resonate with a sense of dreamlike movement. She draws inspiration from Asian culture and enjoys doing commissions.

Now at 24, she wholeheartedly dedicates herself to her art career, grateful for the opportunity to pursue her dreams.
