Lynne Menge was born and raised in Johannesburg and studied in the UK before returning home to SA. After spending almost 4 decades in the advertising industry, Lynne has retired and living in Cape Town, as a full time painter and art teacher.
Her body of work reflects mainly her love of the ocean, inspired by its beauty and this amazing power of nature, depicting its flowing energy and motion. Lynne chooses dynamic compositions and interpretations to show the passion of movement that comes from the sea.

Lynne has also been the recipient of many art awards and was published in the “The Collector’s Guide to Art & Artists in South Africa”, (compiled by Bronwyn Collard, The South African Institute of Artists and Designers).
