Melanie is a Cape Town–born artist with a lifelong passion for colour, music and the natural world, she has been creating art for as long as she can remember. Legend has it her toes once doubled as crayon holders, and her fascination with song lyrics getting stuck in her head always spark the ideas that become paintings.

Her creative work spans murals, chalking pavements, illustrating restaurant chalk boards, and painting on people…with her artistic footprint visible across Cape Town and London. She now focuses primarily on painting the ‘songs in her head’, makeup artistry, combining technical skill with a love for colour and not taking things too seriously.
