This is a super fun painting. The outer canvas was submitted into Constantiaberg Art Society\u2019s competition for the them \u2018Space\u2019.
\nI cut a round hole in the centre, and then painted it in ochres and golds like a mock baroque frame. When I presented it, I put it in front of my own face and said, \u2018Watch This Space!\u2019. It then sat in my cupboard for ages until I decided to use it to create this very unusual piece. The nude and dog are painted on a board, and I\u2019ve used spacers to pin it behind the canvas hole.
