The owner was getting rid of it because she&#8217;d left it in her car one very hot day and it warped badly.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, I had a powder coating business and access to a huge oven which i used to then heat it up to approx 100C, with weights added to force it back into alignment.<\/p>\n<p>The deck (top half) was cut out, with a small section left at the bottom bec of the thinness and also where most of the hardware (fins boxes are), which make any carving unviable.<\/p>\n<p>The shear size required a design that would make use of it, so what better subject to fill the space.
