An added bit of color for contrast. Started the piece with charcoals but had to switch to acrylics because charcoals wouldn&#8217;t adhere properly to the primer.<\/p>\n<p>The solitary lighthouse guiding during bad weather.<\/p>\n<p>Most of my materials are either donated or sourced for free via market place, scrapyards, municipal dumps, etc and are old usable boards or completely broken boards that I repair or use as is.<\/p>\n<p>This applies to all surfboard pieces<br \/>\nPainted surfboards &#8211; Acrylics paints applied directly to the fiberglassed surface, sealed with 3-4 layers of automotive grade, protective gloss clear coat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Acrylic and pencil on upcycled surfboard 230 x 53 x 15 cm My first Black and White piece.
