Currently based in Bettys’ Bay, Cape Town, I studied art through high school and create from my home studio. My work is very diverse, focusing on embellished fluid art pours, acrylics on canvas, resin free-flow sculpture, mixed media, and various experimental techniques, often drawing from themes like nature, abstraction, and personal reflection. I enjoy crafting and I make jewelry from polymer clay, resin and found objects on Bettys’ Bay beach. I facilitate workshops in resin, UV resin and polymer clay at Deckle Edge, both in Cape Town and Knysna.
As Managing Director of Kunye Art Foundation, I curate exhibitions, offer mentorship to emerging artists, and provides opportunities for both established and up-and-coming creators to share their work. I have always believed that art can inspire positive changes, encourage creativity, and support personal and economic growth.
I am a member of the South African Society of Artists (SASA), where I served on the council (as Vice President and exhibitions coordinator until recently), and Watercolour Artists of South Africa (WASA). I also run Gecko Art, an online art and craft supply shop.
I have taken part in many exhibitions at Kirstenbosch, Groot Constantia, Sendingskerk, Grand Daddy 1st Thursdays, Art in the Park, Art on the PromenArt, Blue Route Mall, Constantia Mall, Long Beach Mall and have 2 paintings hanging in Gallery on 3rd@Grand Daddy
